Establishing appropriate access points has been a key consideration that has shaped the design process. Extensive consultation with our transport team ensured the access arrangements are appropriate to people, vehicle and cycle movements, whilst ensuring that the new development doesn’t create a negative effect on the highways system.

The access points onto the site are proposed to be from Croxdale Road. Traffic modelling has been undertaken to demonstrate that the new traffic can be safely accommodated within the existing network. The site is ideally placed for public transport connections, and sustainable travel will be promoted as part of the planned development.

Proposed Design

Foul and surface water shall be drained to the local Thames Water public foul sewer network. This will be undertaken in consultation with Thames Water to ensure that the public sewers have sufficient capacity to convey flows from the development site with no detriment to other users of the sewers.
